Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) low fuel pressure with fass system

my fass system runs 2psi before i start it then it goes up to 17 is this normal? or should i be concerned? any help would be great.

Sounds right to me. The stock lp's kick out about 3-10 lbs then bleed off, the ecm only gives it enough power to start it to run to bring up the pressure so you can start it. If it went to 17 lbs and stayed there, it would not start as easy.

mine will prime to about 10 psi then die off... and runs a little under 16 psi... .
