This may have already posted but what the heck. I'll claim it for mine. I have been trying to figure an easy way to set the low speed on my 93 with manual transmission. The screw is as you know in a very hard to reach spot. No regular wrench will fit well on the lock nut. After trying to loosen the lock nut, it occured to me that I could put a pair of nuts on the contact end of the screw and set them rather than the screw. I got two nuts (6mm by 1mm pitch) and simply put them on the screw and snugged them against each other and adjusted them to set the low idle. Now when I have the AC on and the truck sits and idles, it no longer gets the exhaust rattle that was so obnoxious. With the AC off, the idle is a tad too high but that is more tollerable than the rattle. In the winter time, I can easily set the idle back down in a few seconds.
This will not be as easy on a truck with the TPS sitting on the top of the pump but once installed can be readjusted very easily.
