Low/no boost???

I'm confused. On a mild acceleration from a intersection or after making a turn,it seems that I don't see boost until I'm into 1/3 throttle or more. I've checked the wiring and tubing to the guage,tubing under the hood and turbo lines and all is well. My previous truck(94 auto 4x4) showed boost all the time (except at idle of course). Am I missing something,bad guage or is it the nature of the beast?

I have the same year truck, it is totally normal, you dont see any boost until you really start to step on the Throttle.

Heck, when I put my boost guage in I was reving it up in the driveway in park and thought I had a bad guage. Took it for a ride and the boost magically appeared. #ad
