Low power in O.D. TSB

Anyone had this done. Dealer tells me it only effects shift points. If thats the case will it make any difference as I already have the DTT stuff installed?



Switching mine to a federal PCM to avoid setting codes on my Cal. truck. Had to go to 2 different dealers to find one that knew you had to program a PCM. Funny thing is the dealer that I thought was worthless is the one who knew how to do it. Go figure.

I don't know about low power, but I got this reflash when my truck would refuse to down shift when going 60 mph. If I mashed the go pedal it would just slooowwwlllyy accelerate. No down shift. Always exciting when jumping out to pass and nothing happens. Reflash solved that problem, but may have introduced the dreaded stumble. Let me repeat ... it MAY have. Let's put it this way. They reflashed the trans again and it did not solve the problem. The stumble may have been there before and I didn't notice it. It was pretty suttle when it first showed up. Have you noticed the any hesitation, stumble, or bucking at around 17-1800 rpm under light throttle? Not trying to scare you and it probably is not the cause of the stumble. Just thought I would pass it along.
