I'm not sure if that knob is from a GM product, Ford, or a dodge... I'm thinking Ford, but if it is from a GM, good luck!!!

Lots of junkyards have Ford trucks with manual transmissions. That said, The actual knob is a bit different for 1990's models. It is splined, instead of having threads, but the entire shifter can be used if you can figure out use a drill. Perhaps, the older Fords used threaded knobs??? FYI, a junkyard would probably just let you have the insert for free... Just be honest about it!!!

I actually have a shifter from a '96 Ford gasser in my '09 Dodge with a G-56. I hated the funky bend that makes one of the cup holders unusable.

You can see the low range in the sales brochure for Ram trucks in at least some years.

The pic I showed above is from a Ram.

I’ve seen the similar GM handle, and it would make sense to have similar ones since NP was a joint venture between GM and Chrysler. The GM one has a slightly different design for the OD symbol. They’re more diagonal, fwiw.

From what I see there are 2 folks in common for these kind of things if you can get by with just the insert.

OMIX and Crown

Maybe reach out and see if they can reproduce a few for you. Never hurts to ask.

Good luck with your search.

If you find an actual part number someone might be able to find more info.

Year, Make, Model, type of trans?

Someone might have something sitting out back in the weeds somewhere?

Thanks!

Looks like it’s limited to some NV4500HD 5-speed transmissions, earlier years of the BR trucks. TBD if it was only on the 4.10 trucks, since the gear ratios in the MT were all the same.
