Low Sulpher Fuel

Just picked up my '02 from the dealer. Bad injector pump at 52,000. Talked to a guy who rebuilds pumps out of his shop. He indicated that the fuel is bad from L. A. up through Santa Barbara county and working its way north. He is seeing a lot of pumps coming in with damage from low lubricity fuel.



This is just a heads up for you California guys. Better start adding something or other when you fill up.

SOME of us keep preachin' the message - and trying for as many converts as possible! These VP-44's are close tolerance pumps, and our USA diesel fuels simply aren't as good a quality as in Europe where the majority of these pumps are used in other engines/vehicles...



... And it's only gonna get WORSE, as the next round of diesel fuel "improvements" hit the scene...
