So a question about the Alph OBDII. I find the app on amazon but it is kind of vague. Is it just a app for android to use with a bluetooth module you already have such as the blue driver or does in come with it's own plug in module. I want to adjust or turn off the TPMS so will the app do this or do I need to by the hand tool for this option.

Very Late 2018 Ram 2500 4x4 with Cummins / 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee with EcoDiesel.

AlfaOBD is just the App for Android or Windows. You will still need a Bluetooth OBD dongle. Obdlink MX is the best choice as it supports all the buses without an external switch box. You will also need a pin code from the dealer parts department so you can reset the RF hub. The dealer is suppose to give it to you for free with proof of ownership; however, some dealers refuse to give it out.

I have a Blue Driver OBD will that link work with the alfa app or should I get the link MX also?
I would try it. I think it is a ELM327 compatible unit.

From the AlfaOBD web site:
ELM327 - based USB / Bluetooth / WLAN interfaces for PC and bluetooth/WiFi-enabled Android and Windows devices. All CAN units are supported and some of K-Line. Make sure the ELM 327 is of version 1.3 and above.

I started out with a $9.95 Bluetooth adapter I purchased a few years ago for use with the Torque App and thought I was having trouble with it. I purchased the OBDLink MX and still had the same trouble. It turned out to be operator error. The no name adapter works exactly the same as the $80 one.

Another vote for AlfaOBD. I have a list of friends wanting me to drop their TPMS warnings. You will need to get your trucks 4 digit PIN from the dealership.

I didn’t know about AlfaOBD when I was truck shopping, so TPMS vs TPIS was another bonus on the 3500. I wonder when the govt will change that.

All deflated for winter.

I run lower when at elk camp, but I don’t get above 25 for 10 days... and this year had 4 chains on for a week. Tire pressure makes a HUGE difference in traction.

As far as OBDII readers I have this one. Works great.
