LowBeams on with High beams(again)

Hey guys I did the joining of wires per Artic Cat and the Dims stay on with the brights. That's good. But, if I hold the dimmer switch up

they all get a little brighter??.

Did a search and someone else had this happen but I couldn't find an answer. . Any help appreciated.

When you hook the two wires together, the low beams are pulling power from the high beam circuit and the wire is not of sufficient gauge to support the amperage draw. When you pull the switch, you are sending power to both wires, hence they get brighter. All you need to do is have the high beam wire power a relay which draws power from the battery and supplies it to the low beam.
