Lowboy gooseneck trailer

Hey guys does anyone know of a trailer manufacturer that makes a low-boy deck over trailer in a gooseneck? The closest I've come to finding what I want is the Rolls Rite drive over fender trailer with 7 ton dexter axles. It has a 29 inch deck height. I'd like to find something that has a pierced frame and maybe even run 14" load range E tires. I want the lowest center of gravity possible within reason. Any ideas?

Rob, might be a tall order there, but, have you checked out PJ Trailers out of Texas? What exactly are you planning on doing with this trailer?

I haul tractors and wanted to get away from the 37 or so inches off the ground and down around 27 inches. Makes loading much easier and I prefer something lower to the ground. I need the deck width 8-1/2 feet so the wheels don't have to be changed each time I use it.

ROWilson, I love my PJ low profile I have. It is way nicer to pull than a standard height trailer with lots less top sway. And I also get better mileage with it than my standard trailers. Right off hand I don't know the off ground height of the deck but it is super easy to chain equipment down on with a rub rail and pockets as well as pipes. I paid around 7800 for it in 2004and it's a 32' trailer.

A standard deckover trailer with a 235/85/16 will sit around 37" Pierced frame with the same tires rides at 32. 5" You can go with smaller tires and we also do a chop & section which can drop it down even further - We notch the I-beam frame and plate in the area with 4" x 1/2" flat, put crossbraces and supports in and place the hangers where they are flush with the lip of the I-beam, you can drop the trailer pretty good this way, and if you don't mind a raised diamond plate over the axles (approx 2-4") we can drop the trailer up to another 6".

I agree with TX, I am a dealer for Big Tex and I feel like I am twisting their arm in three turns and sticking it up their **s every time I ask for a slightly custom trailer. I admit they try to cover their hind ends in every situation which a business has to with people the way they are anymore.

TX, sounds like you guys have decent prices on trailers! What would a 36' pierced frame dual jack torque tube locking chainbox and pull out ramps cost me? I would want black or grey/silver trailer. I have ben looking for a new trailer. Do you take trades on new trailers?
