I recall seeing a post that discussed the direction of the lower ball joint grease fittings. One way you could leave it in and the other you had to remove it so that the axle shaft yoke didn't hit it. I wasn't able to find it via searching. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm replacing mine this weekend and would like to orient mine so that I can leave the fittings in place.

If you are useing Moog ball joints just point them (the zerc fitting) slightly in from stright ahead. they don't come any where near the "u"joints.
