Watch those cigarettes!! I wonder what a cop would say when he looked in and saw that baby?? On second thought route a line over by the drivers door so you can turn it on when the cop steps up to the door:-laf

I know Nos isn't flamable in and of itself, but isn't it an accelerant for any existing flame? I could be (make that probably) mistaken. Sorry, my college education is becoming fuzzy (and H. S. is long gone) in a haze of malt beverages. :-laf

Under high heat (such as combustion) the nitrogen(1) and oxygen(2) atoms dissassociate. This makes the free oxygen available to aid in burning the extra fuel you pump in (in the case of a gasser), or have in the cylinder through a large injection event (in the case of a diesel). That's why a diesel pumping out black smoke (unburned fuel) suddenly cleans up with the Nitrous is introduced. You suddenly get more oxygen that normally provided by the turbo, even under high boost. Nitrous Likes Smokey Diesels!!! Or is it the other way around ;)

It's the high heat that's the key. I haven't done this (nor recommend it), but have been told that squirting nitrous on a typical cool (yellow) flame will just extinguish it. High heat + nitrous oxide = free oxygen

Forget the nitrous, how did you get a yellow truck?

I remember you from a few ATS days. Your black 3rd gen blew a chunk through the compressor volute on the dyno :)

I think that was the loudest I have ever herd a turbo when it gernades. Like a bomb. This pice of compresser wheel also dented my hood when it came through the houseing.

That is just soooo wrong!! But i do like it! That would be something i would do. My friends say my wiring is mixed up. I say it is the rest of the world not me!

Yea, my friends think i am crazy. I dont see what the problem is in sitting next to someting while your driveing that contains 1300 psi of pressure in it.

crashing maybe?

I watched a Mythbuster's where they shot a rifle at a full scuba tank and couldn't get it to blow. They had to put explosive charges on it to get it to blow. If these tanks are made to the same specs, I wouldn't worry about it blowing up, but if that thing got loose in an accident, it could hurt someone just like anything else in the cab that has any weight to it.

I think it's cool!
