I need to get my transmission rebuilt . I have about 375hp and tow about 9000#. How much lower than stock shoud stall should I get.
I have a 15 year old DTT 89% in it now,
i know it's lower than stock now but don't know how much.
Thanks Mike

I would shoot for a triple disc with a similar stall speed as the DTT 89%. Anything tighter is less drivable. My builder had to do the TQ twice to get it right, first one was to loose. My DTT lasted about 10 years and only around 80K when it broke a retainer on the 2nd gear drum pack.
I just rebuilt a 1999 4wd finished yesterday used a precision from new Hampton
Used their billet triple disc got 200 under stall really feels good. Their std is 400 under but was afraid would be to much. Also used randys servos and accumulator and 4.2 lever
