Lower the rear to level?

I’m considering lowering the rear of my ‘16 Mega Cab 4x4 to level it vs. the traditional raise the front. By the looks of it this is not overly popular!

If anyone has done this or has any input it would be appreciated.

I took out the spacer blocks/ shims on my 2005 to lower the rear. I'm thinking about doing the same on my 13 as I'm getting old and the "hop up" is not as easy as it once was. It worked however I'm not so sure how to lower the coil spring system on the newer trucks

If its a 2500 Thuren had 1/2" lower rear coils, if its a 3500 you would have to modify the spring pack but it can be done.

Sorry about that its a 2500. I will check into Thuren…1/2" sounds pretty conservative.?

I absolutely hate how tall the new trucks are. I've got dents and scratches all over my bed from me crawling in and out of the bed.

The first time I jumped out of the bed over the side like I have for the last 25 years I realized how tall it is.

I no longer jump over the side.
