Recently purchased 03 3500 DRW, my gooseneck horse trailer is to close on clearance to the bed due to the rear suspension setup. On my 02 I had removed the rear suspension block and cut it down 3 inches, there is no way to do that on this 03.Hoping someone has a solution for this, the way it is now if I don,t watch very carefully my bed will be toast. Thanks

I can move spacers like snoking suggested but on the 03 truck will only gain about 1.5".Every little bit will help, but I really need more.My gooseneck horse trailer is an older model and that is probably part of the problem.Would the leveling kit for the front help. dflaugh

I'm going to go ahead and lower the back the 1.5" and see how much improvement I get, then I will probably add some leveling to the front.I"ll post back with results, kind of thought there would be more posts since were dealing with an 04. dflaugh

I am guessing as I have have been down this road before, but if your trailer has 15 in tires and you have room but 16 on it and depending what kind of axles you have on your trailer their some options there for increasing its height which will help with bed clearance.

I lowered my 04.4 the week after I purchased it in 2005. It only lowers it approx. 1.75" but it made a difference leveling out the RV and never had any bed interference problems.
