hi ,

i know this goes against the trend but i would like to know if anyone has lowered a 2500 diesel 4x4 club cab long bed Ram , or if anyone has installed an air suspension kit on the same , and if the results were worthwile or not . i am in australia so any info or web sites would be greatly appreciated .

Welcome to the TDR salstrip....

Kelderman manufacturing makes an air ride suspension for the front and rear. It is not designed to lower the rig. I fabricated some new spring blocks out of 3" square tubing and lowered the rear of my 99 by 1 3/4". I was happy with that. I think the spring spacers that come on the truck could be "cut off" that same amount(I have heard of others doing this) with the same results. You might check into spring blocks off of a 2WD. Because the U-bolts will not fit (they will be too long)if you do that, you may want to consider going to a 5/8ths bolt size. There is less axle wrap with the shorter blocks... . which is a good thing.
