Who orders the trucks on dealer lots?

I just bought a 2015 Ram 3500 DRW 2x4 and was disappointed when I got it to know that it sets as high as the 4x4. My trailers don't seem to pull like I want them to (too high in the front). Anybody lowered one? Or know of a kit to do so? Had I known they were this tall I'd have bought a 4x4

I have a 2012 DRW 4 x 4 and I've pulled my overload springs and one short spring out of the main leaf spring set to lower the rear a little. Then added air bags to assist on the weight when pulling my gooseneck horse trailer. It gives me the space I wanted between the box rail and gooseneck, plus the trailer rides level.

How did you not notice this when ha bought it?

Anyway, the springs will settle a little bit over time, so I wouldn't invest or modify your rig until it has some haul hours on it.

I ordered the truck bc they didn't have any 2x4 on the lot so I didn't have the luxury of seeing it before it got here. It's nearly 5" taller than my 2007. I don't think it will settle that much

I have a 4x2. I ordered my 5ver with 2 inch risers. The trailer guys that set it up said that I was riding 1/4 nose high. And after a bit if riding with a load on the truck that the leafs will settle down a little. Where I could be level to 1/4 nose low. I say this because you could just ad risers to your trailer. I would think it would be the easier way.

I have to many different trailers to do it to my trailers. Maybe I'll just put air bags on the corners but o really didn't want to rely solely on air bags. Maybe someone will have an option. I know it can be done just don't know where to find the kits
