I have a Lowrance iWay 500c. When it is on my dash with a good view of the sky thru the windshield, it works pretty well. When I put my slide-in camper on the truck, the huge overhang over the cab blocks the signal. So, I got an external magnetic antenna off of Ebay. However, the plug doesn't fit right. The plug on the unit is pretty deep, and the plug on the antenna won't reach all the way in. The Lowrance antenna is over $100. The one's on ebay are $10-$20. Anyone know where I can get an antenna that will work, or know where I can get an adapter plug that will work? After my search, I might be better off just getting the one from Lowrance and call it good. But, just thought I'd put the feelers out here first.

Thanks in advance!

Well, in case anyone was wondering, I received the wrong one, and Gilsson sent me the one that will fit.

First off, I'm glad you got your problem fixed.

I find it interesting that the receiver doesn't work under the camper, though. My Garmin 76CX maintains satellite connections sitting in the "Cup Smoothy" attached to my center console. Heck, we were flying back from Europe last year and I pulled it out while in the air. The thing acquired satellites inside the plane!
