Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) LP and VP44 covered under 5/100?

Hey guys,



Almost purchased my 01. 5 with 63k miles for a dealer for 19k. Well i asked him about the fuel pressure and he said it is covered by the cummins warranty. Is this true? I dont know if their are any problems with the trucks lp or vp44 since it runs good. But, i am worried about the future. What else does the cummins engine warranty cover? Also, what should the pressure be at when the dealer's mechanic checks it? It an HO btw. .

Yes it is. Presure answers will very but most say never below 6. And this is checked at wot. The dealers testing is very forgiving.
