Local gasser pull truck is set up to flame. No gas needed.

He just pumps the throttle several times to get a rich condition and then hits the igniters (spark plugs mounted near the top).

Super cool, but I've got other things to work on first.

Jones Performance is sponsering Jackson Centers VFD sled pull in Stoneboro, PA July 16th.

It is also a points stop for the 3 DHRA sled pull classes.

He made an exhibition hook last year, I expect he will again this year.

There "was" a speaker line going across the track, about stack height... ... ... :-laf

Correct me if I'm Wrong ....

I once heard that mothballs in the fuel tank will cause just about any diesel to blow flames... ...

I've researched that system too for them gassers, the set-up i seen I wouldn't use unless you're not concerned with washing down the cylinders w- gas:{ and don't care about your rings and cylinder surface!!!

I would rather have a seperate fuel source anyhow- that way you can remove when your back to street driving so you won't be tempted to wake up that tailgater!! :--)

:-laf BUD LIGHT I SAID!!!!!

 HOLY ****!!! From the looks of that pic- he's on the street there !! How would you like to explain to the local boys in blue what the heck he is doing !!

Excuse me sir... care to explain the fire and popping that wheelie!!!:-laf :-laf

LMAO!

Take a closer look at that photo...

Something is definitely not right with that photo.

Take a look at the upper part of the tree near the right side. For some reason I don't think that anyone managed to get so much air that they were able to land their vehicle up in that tree :-laf

 Hmmmm!!??! Yeah- what's that some kind of treehouse or some kind of photo trickery!

I can assure you that any photos I post have absolutley NO trickery- what gives there Excessive Force?

I'm showing the real deal here..... And really how's that flame being kept lit when the engine is allegedly under some serious throttle to pop that wheelie? Somethings not right with that pic in a few areas... .....

Excessive? Care to respond to the charges brought forth to you?

As far as the wheelstanding truck, it probably is very possible, considering the location of the drivetrain, the size of the engine, and the lightness of the vehicle. As for the truck in the tree, that is real. I saw an article in a paper I get called "Farm Show Magazine". It is a farmer that craned the truck up into, and mounted it into the tree just for the WTH! effect. -Nicholas

Yeah but the rpm's to turn an engine- even though it's rear mounted- to enable a vehicle like that to wheelie would be enough to put the fire out(snuff it out) ?? I don't know... ... somethings sneaky there...

I have also seen some vehicle treehouses- Richard Madsen comes to mind, but still somethings not right

Did you mean Mark Madsen??

The truck in the photo is actually a "statue" of one of his vehicles he drives on the street. He rigged up some kind of pump to spray diesel fuel out of the pipes.

I couldn't resist posting this pic from his website. http://harleyheartbeat.com/

He lives a few miles away from me,and he's a REAL DANDY. His website should entertain you guys. . :-laf :-laf

Aaaaaahh Yes! That's right! MARK Madsen! Well I WAS close! He is supposed to have some unique items, starting with his mailbox... I remember reading a story on him in Hot Rod magazine, Yeah he's a real dandy alright!! Sounds like his house would make a great bench racing hangout!

Yeah,You could even ride around town with him in the summer in his cadillac convertible, but you would have to have one of those tall cat-in-the-hat type hats to match his. I suppose he could make room for you if he took out some of the stuffed animals. :-laf :-laf

Flames

You could do it the old fashion way, like we did it on the 220 Cummins - - put a vice grip on the fuel return line and watch the fire coming out the stack!

Denny

That picture is real that guys owns a rock Quarry I seen it on Discovery and he has all kinds of crazy toys his whole compound is like a dream come true to most of us. He has all his buddies come over and they play stunt men with old wrecked cars and what not.
