No Steve, but it would be a good term for that too.....



I mean the boot that goes between the airbox and the fender, it is supposed to keep the airbox from taking underhood air. Lots of guys on here think it very restrictive, high EGT, longer spoolup bla blah blah. I have seen no relationship to the boot other than noise.

No boot = better turbo whistle. Oo. That thing just flops around in there anyway. Chuck it!

With 370s I could peg the filter minder with 1 full throttle run, removed boot and it never moved again.
