SO CAL Meeting January 19th

sleddin

Seeing that I was under hoods and trucks all day, I only got about 10 pictures taken.

They are posted here.

If anyone else took some pictures, could you e-mail them to me so I can get them up on the site as well.

I appreciate it very much.

That was a lot of fun :)

Gitch, Those chicken fajitas were great, I think I'm still full :)

Thanks to E. T. Performance for the hospitality, they were very nice.

Great pictures MDW, and Gitch. Thanks E. T. Performance for the facilities. Had a great time. Hope everyone can make it on Feb. 8 th.

Those are great pics! Thanks again Gitch, David and Mandy, et al for putting this together. I ended up going out to dinner with David and Mandy that evening... great folks.

Rusty and Grandpappy and the gentleman in the brown jacket (we were introduced, but I can't remember your name), I can't thank you enough for all your help with my pyro install. I hope I can return the favor someday.

Thanks!

First, thanks to David for hosting the event and letting us use his shop, tools, and utilities.

To gitch for the chow and the help.

To Mike, Des, David, & Nitz for their help.

To everyone else for moral support!

Report on mods- truck seems (SOP observation) to rev & run more freely. There is a drone from 1500 to 1700 rpm but I don't stay in that range very long (!).

BTW, I wound up with a 5/8" deep socket (3/8" drive) and a 15mm combo wrench which aren't mine- if they're yours, let me know.

You would think so wouldn't you.

I thought so too. The Pasadena police officer told me different. Something about a big white dually sliding sideways in both lanes caught his attention.

No ticket though:D :D

A big thanks to David and E. T. Performance for the use of the shop and the hospitality.

Bill - I wished I could have hung around to help you finish with the mods. I hope the exhaust went on easier than the manifold.

The 15mm combination wrench and socket belong in my box. I thought I grabbed everything, but I guess I was wrong. The combination wrench should be a craftsman and the socket should be a master mechanic brand.

Thanks to MDW, gitch, & a welding machine, it's on there. First time I ever used a Sawzall to INSTALL a system! Thanks again for all your help with the manifold.

Right you are! Email me at -- email address removed -- and let me know how to get them back to you. I'll be coming to west Houston Wednesday if that'll help.
