Amsoil markets lube specifically for NV-4500 and 5600

Folks, these three additives are getting nothing but rave reviews from the folks over on Bobistheoilguy.com

I've never seen a post on any of them here on TDR, and I was wondering if there were any members that had experience with these products?

Auto-RX is a well-known non-solvent engine cleaner. It dissolves sludge, unsticks rings, and eliminates varnish. It requires a couple "cycles" of frequent oil/filter changes to work. Most report much better running and mpg when used on a high-mileage engine.

Lube Control accomplishes similar things to Auto-RX, only you don't need to change the oil a bunch, and it works slower. You just add an ounce or two per qt of oil, and do this for a couple thousand miles.

Fuel power is the additive that I was most anxious to try. It's supposedly has the highest lubricity of any additive, and leaves NO DEPOSITS! It's also said to be an extremely effective cleaner.

So, that's the marketing spiel. What's the REAL WORLD scoop on these products?

If any TDR folks are also BITOGers, you may have used these products.

Anyone out there have any experience with these products?

I'm seriously considering ordering some of the Auto-rx for my wife's 185,000 mile Saturn which currently needs oil at regular intervals and is relatively black inside the valve cover.

It will be very difficult to determine if the fuel lubricant helps anything IMO... other than peace of mind.
