Has anyone else done reseqarch on proper lube for Gear Vendors? Mine was installed in March 1994 and instructions were quite specific - no synthetics and change with every engine oil change. I had Carson Dodge put in all synthetic from stem to stern last May but the local Gear Vendors installer still says use non-synthetic. Scott Dalgleish states : "Use AMSOIL" but I think he may be biased. Any definitive answers out there?

Gear Vendors says that the unit will work on almost anything. ATF, to Gear oil. Acording to them it's bullet proof. Yea right, not behind a pumped up Cummins. I have talked to three guys that install them and they all use different oils. Good luck with this one.

Bigharv, Gear Vendors advised my installer to
only use syntorqe. I am not sure about the spelling but I have the fluid changed every year before I tow my trailer and it works beautifully. I think they mean for you to check the level at every oil change because it dosen't hold much lubricant and even a small leak could cause trouble.
