Sliding Passenger Seat

My 93 Club Cab has always hasd one glaring fault - you could tilt the passenger seat and lean the back forward but it was still tough to get a cooler in or out of the rear. I recently purchased a driver seat adjuster from my local Dodge wrecking yard and in about twenty minutes had it installed. Required two additional holes in the seat base to fit the adjuster and the removal of four bolts from the adjuster - two hammer blows on each bolt knocks them right out of the spring washers! Now the seat slides like a pford!

Thanks Bigharv, I wondered why they didnt make that seat to slide, has plenty of leg room in front, but sure puts a squeeze on anyone of any size in the back, I'll have to see if I can find one to replace too.

I ordered up a set of driver's side seat slider rails from Chrysler and fitted them to the pax seat. Had to raise the rear of the pax seat about an inch for clearance with the pax seat unlock/tilt system, otherwise it went well. Cost about $C100 for parts.
Allows me to put a seat assembly off an electric skooter behind the pax seat, sideways, much more confortable for the person in the back.
