Luberfiner filters

Went into the local International / Cummins parts store today to get oil filters. Got 2 of "the usual" and he said he is not carrying Fleetguards anymore. Told me that he cant compete with NAPA on the price. I ran the LF3349 and only paid 4. 00 ea. I cant beleive people are going to NAPA filters and are getting them much cheaper than that.

Anyhow. I used to run luberfiners on Mack engines. Are they good for the Cummins? He said he will get Fleetguards in for me just needs a few days notice. My parts guy loves me

Luberfiner makes a screw on filter? I am familiar with the big outboard mounted housing with the disposable inner cartrige. We even had those on big vacuum pumps when I still had a job. I think we ran Baldwins in those.



You can get filters for the 5. 9 at Case and other tractor dealers as well. My dealer carries both Fleetguard and Case (Fleetguard painted black). They give a discount on ordering a case in.
