12v fuel plates: 1 piece or two piece?

Surprise or Trick or Treat

Remeber. . this test was done with un-additized ULSD. That's like raw ULSD before any lubricant has been added at the distributer. It would be a worst case scenario.

B2 (2% biodiesel) sure beat the pants off the competition. I'm feeling good about the B10 I've been getting the past few years. Even if I have to fill up at another station on occasion. . there's enough bio remaining to keep the VP happy.

Oh. . isn't it interesting that Wal-Mart 2 stroke injector oil (at 1 oz per gallon) beat out Stanadyne's "Lubricity" formula!

Even more interesting is the fact that some of the additives actually made the lubricity worse with the additive than without it.

Dont know about all these tests. I have been using mmo since new and now original vp-44 has 461,580kms on it. Thats 286,811k. Works for me on a very early version of the vp-44 which is not supposed to be as good as later ones. Have a good day guys.

Interesting -

Notice how the results group themselves? Higher 600's, lower 600's, mid 400's? What happpened to the 500's?

Notice how the comments (on TDR, TDI, and other forums) group themselves by gen? Sounds like the newer the gen the higher the need for lubricity. Maybe the first gen guys have us ALL beat. The P7100 might be the BEST IP yet? Should we be finding / rebuilding 1st gen engines to be put in 3rd gen frames?

Some (most) of the products (PF etc) also have secondary purposes (pour point etc).

Lastly, what is a BAD number? and for that matter, what is a GOOD number? I know the lower the better as stated. Lets say your company runs 400 Class 8 rigs, what are the companies that watch mileage and maintenance like a hawk finding? Those guys longevity and time = serious money. What are they doing / finding?

Just some thoughts,

Bob Weis
