Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lucas Products

Just looking through a Summit catalog and saw Lucas 15/40 Diesel truck oil. Has anyone tryed it? How about using there oil stabilizer or gear oil?

I used their oil stabilizer in my old '92 Dy-Nasty. It was the only way I could get oil pressure at idle in gear!

I started using the oil stabilizer in one of my big trucks (Peterbilt 379) with a Cummins N14. It did raise the oil pressure. But I habitually test the oil (blackstone labs), and they informed me that I certainly did not need the additive (viscosity, and the (additives in the oil) were fine. So I stopped using it.

However, I have been using the (Lucas) fuel additive frequently in all 3 of my cummins (my dodge included) and I feel like it is a good product that helps keep the injectors clean, and the upper end lubed.

I've also use the Lucas fuel additive and feel that it's a good product. No experience with their others, but would not hesitate to give them a try.
