Lucerix Extended Towing Mirrors

Anyone install these? How are they performing? Vibration when extended? Heater and Power Adjustment?

Difficulty in installation?

BUFF, They're great! Had them about a year, got'em when they first came out with the heat option and before the price went up by a hundred dollars. Very little vibration and much better than the CIPA slide on extensions. Took about 45 minutes for the install, just be careful not to break the clips that hold the door panels on. Operation is exactly the same as the stock mirrors. I stuck on spots on the outside bottom corners for wide view.

best $$$ I've spent on rv goodies--- Like the big mirrors. the heat feature works, it dosen't vibrate as much as the aftermarket "clip ons" - hey I've got a pair of McKesh available-----

I've had mine for about a year now and I love 'em. I think that I

use the mirror heat more now than with the stock mirrors.

Maybe the size of the mirrors but they tend to frost up more

when going down the road than the stock ones did but the mirror

heat clears them off in a hurry. They offer much better visibility

than the stockers with clip-ons and the vibration is not an issue

with me.

The mirrors sound like the ticket... I also have the McKesh mirrors and have been happy with them. Just getting tired of having to take them on and off.

I like to see the mirrors mounted on your truck.

I'm curious to see if they will fit in the mirror pockets of my Noah truck cover.

98-01 heated & electric $449. 95

Geno's has them for around the same price

or you can go luxerix direct don't recomend that way-- kinda like SPA customer service :{ :{ but that's another post---

Like the rest i have had the on for over a year now and no vibrations. i do not have the heated ones. some times i feel like dumbo because they are huge. i got mine direct fron lucerx. Big bucks tho. Oo. Oo.

I've had mine for over a year. The passenger had a slight vibration that was cured by tightening the torx fasteners on the mirror arm. The power/heat is great.

How much are they (factory) if you buy them as an add-on to a truck without them?

Dave I think you are going to have to make it to one of the Ram Runners meetings, you can probably see one of every accessory know to man there!!! Curt you have mirriors too, how do I get a job where you work my sickly old Ram hardly has any fun. LOL

Sdaves, The factory mirrors aren't power adjust. I can't remember if they are power heat. The Lucerix are larger mirrors anyway. The slide out for towing is manual on the Lucerix.

There not heated either,the power,heated flip-up tow mirrors weren't an option on the second gen rams. They do offer it on the third gen rams though. The only thing different is the base of the mount. I bought the kit for an '03 and incorporated to my '01. 5,I was kinda lucky ,all the wire connections were already behind the door panels. It was expensive and time consuming to do,but I wanted the factory power heated mirrors,well now I have them. Besides the dealer told me that I couldn't do it!You can do anything if you want it bad enough. It cost me $374 for the kit and $20 or something for the switch,and all freakin' day to rip them all apart to make them fit. I'd do it again now that I now the secret. Sorry about the looooooong post,I'm trying to learn how to type!

i love em... . no vibration and they're big... my only complaint is that the passenger side is not convex... . gonna take a little getting used to. pics are here... ... .
