I have torqued my lug nuts to 155 Ft lbs per my Dodge service manual on my 2005 3500 DRW truck flat nuts but I looked at the lug nuts to day and I can see stamp into the end of the lug nuts torque to 140 Ft lbs . I would like to know if some one out there knows the right torque . Is it 140 Ft lbs or is it 155 Ft lbs.

This may not help, but according to the Dodge Body Builder's Guide, the torque range is 130-160, with the recommended torque 145.

That sounds good I am in the torque range can I now ask in that range what torque are you guys setting you lug nuts to on your 3500 DRW trucks

I was always told to torque mine to 105 and when I bought new tires in April 2009, they said then new specs said 130. They are now set at 130.

Aluminum wheel spec is 135 ft*lb for 2003, 140 ft*lb for 2005-up; steel wheels is 145 ft*lb.

I'd also check your owners manual - the "final word" is printed in there.

When I bought the new tires April 09 I was told that the specs were changed and the new specs were at 130# now. It is funny that I had no problems at 105# so 130# ought to do okay now too. :)
