What size are the lug nuts on an '00 or newer with the alloy wheels? Might they be larger than the ones on my '96?

I'll explain later.

Thanks!

Thanks.

Here is my problem:

I have a '96 that I am wanting to put '01 centercaps on and they won't fit my lug nuts. The lugnuts on my truck are also 15/16 and the holes in the caps are way to large to attach to the lug nuts.

I was told the lugs between years were the same and I just wanted to verify this, which I have done. So what's the deal?

Any help or suggections is greatly apprecaited.

Thanks,

Ryan

Did you change the wheels? I'd bet that the depth of the retainer in the cap (or something like that) is different. (to fit the different style wheels)

If my grinder can't fix 'em, I'll just weld 'em on for ya :D

Cooker the new style lug nuts have a 29mm (1. 150) inch collar that the caps snap over. This is at the outer end of the taper, it then steps down to the nut area, which measures around 23mm (. 925 inch) face to face across the nut area. I emailed you a picture of a new style lug nut. SNOKING
