Do i really need the TBK and the 03 TB or will luke's link be as good? Also I have a 2" level kit, do I need an adj track bar?

I have a Lukes Link, it does the job, but I don't think its a great fix. Its probably better than replacing with a stock track bar, but I have had to adjust it quite a bit. I don't recall the mileage when I installed it, but I think it was at least a year ago. Several days ago I replaced the axle end bushing with an energy suspension urethane bushing- the truck drives soooo much better now! If I were you I'd ante up and buy the upgrade style bar. I like the one from ThurenFab, DT makes one, and theres the 3rd gen bar brackets a few guys are making now...

That said, the Lukes Link works ok if you're on a budget at the moment(and need to make the truck safer).

I'm not sure how this would work with the leveling kit, surely someone else here knows...

edit: as a side note, just noticed you are using 305/70R16 Nittos.

1. How do you like the tires?

2. Are you using the stock rims? With my 285's on a stock rim, the tires 'balloon' more, making the tread surface rounded. This causes the truck to wander at random. I plan on upgrading to 8" rims soon to help- I've used the 8" rims(and 285's) from my brother's truck recently to make sure it would make the difference. They sure enough did. Just thought this might have something to do with any wander you have.

edit2: I just read more about your truck, wow that is looooong! You have what appears to be a factory alloy 7. 5" wheel vs. my 6. 5" wheel so I doubt that is at issue, but leaving it here for anyone else's benefit. With the size of your truck, and what you use it for I'd say upgrade to a bigger bar!

If you use the 3rd gen bar,you do it once and you are done! I have a 2" lift and do not have any complaints with my set up but an adjuster would be nice.

I don't believe my TB joint is too bad yet, I just like to stay ahead of things. The truck don't seem to wander as of yet. Willys, I believe the rims on the 02's are 16x8. The 305's do ok on an 8" rim, but that's the narrowest you could go. The Nittos are great so far, to soon to tell. I sure feel better with them being 10 ply. This long thing weighs in at 10k lbs when full of fuel and just me in it so no wimpy tires here. As for the track bar, I think I'll wait for Darin's Adjustable track bar and bracket kit.
