Looking in to buying the Luke's link product for the track bar. And asking the question, have any one had a problem with it on your truck?

Thanks, David

the only thing that ive had to do to it is grind a little off of one side . hits the diff cover but other than that its worked great

I just put one in 2 weeks ago. I believe that it is a great product. I just wish getting the track bar off was so easy.

If you can't find the right puller use a pickle fork that is wide. The 1st fork that I tried was too narrow and just cause frustration. It was my 1st time pulling a ball joint.

I think the engineering that went into Luke's link is top notch. He pretty much thought through everything.

It really fixed my problem. The spring in the ball joint let loose. The joint was moving almost 1/4". I could move the steering wheel almost 3" before she started to change direction. Now things are a lot tighter.

I am starting to think about... . What if I replaced the other 4 joints?

Hit his website. The instructions are online and there is a simple test to determine whether you need one at all.

Good luck!

I've got Luke's Links everywhere they will go on my '96 - five in all. Other than already mentioned necessity of grinding a bit off the track bar joint to clear the diff on some trucks, no problems at all. I thought someone said that Lucas may have made a modification to address the diff issue. I'd do it again.
