Just a short note to say I've now got about 2,000 miles on my front end after installing Luke,s Links on all tierod ends. 5 total I think. Real, real easy installation. If you've got a hand grinder and a vice, it's a piece of cake. (I cheated, I used a bench grinder)
I'm very happy with the way everything went together and
my truck now feels better (tighter) than when it was new!! While I was at it, I R&R'd the ball joints (108,000 miles and they were real bad).
Now I find myself driving the damn truck like a sports car since it now handles like one... Errr, well, ahh, maybe like a 7,500 lb. one .
It's always (since the minor mods) run like a sports car, but you never knew exactly which lane it was going to go in.
Now I choose the lane, not the truck!! Ahhh, life is good... ... .
