Dave, I wouldnt buy one of these as a new loader. There is alot better equipment out there. However, this was a mainstay of the old buffalo hunters and general loading cheaply, many years ago where neck sizing and depriming was adequate case rework. In many cases this was the most accurate method of case prep, it still is! Wilson dies are much better with a small arbor press used with rifle cartridges. If you are loading pistol ammo like the . 45ACP, a progressive press is the best way to go. Alot more expensive but well worth it in production.
I have loaded . 45 LC, 30/40 Krag, . 30/06, . 243 Win. , and . 45/70 Black and smokeless loads using the 310 tool. It works! I have 2 and use the handles to prime cases, often. GregH
