Super Event!

What a Great Time!

First, Thanks to Kaufman's for a first-class event. Those folks really know thier business.

Second, Thanks to the sponsors for the awsome prizes. BD, DDT, ADT and Genos just to name a few. It's great to see them supporting our TDR chapter. I won a set of DDT stage II injectors... Wow!

Third, It was great seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I cooked my beans and operated two grills to feed the hungry masses. Viv and I had lots of fun. Cliff, thanks for bring the Kool-Aid.

Finally, We had our first annual chapter meeting where we got voted back in. We look forward to even a better year ahead.

Take care, Wiredawg

Thanks much to the crew at Kauffman Motorsports and to everyone that had a hand in making this a terrific day.

Numbers say.....

Ok Group...

Here are the final numbers as I have them now. These represent the best numbers made in their respective pulls,HP & Torque. I will post them with TDR user names as I have them and for those who I don't have them for I will use first name and last inital. A whopper of a show and I will not delay anymore what you want. They will be split into 2 posts at 25 trucks each... ...

Quick Notes from the show.....

A few quick notes and I am taking my weary bones and eyes to bed and will drop a note in tommorrow with some thoughts. This show turned out to be even more than I could have ever imagined. With the total truck count very hard to take as they came and went all day we ended up with around 75 total trucks in attendence. 62 Dodges-12 Fords-1 Chevy(Hmm,gotta wonder whose this was?) and a great time was had by all. I'll tip my hat to those from the other diesel boards in attendence and say thanks to the ford guys/gals who came and enjoyed our company and good natured ribbing at times. We had 80 sign the event registration sheet and even had a few without their respective trucks. Andy Sebek & Stack'd-n-Jack'd were in attendence without their rides as they had broken them before the show(Gotta wonder if Andy will allow Massdiesel to test drive his anymore and why Eric was seen taking transmission installation classes from Massdiesel while he was in attendence).

I would like to offer my thanks to the gang at Kauffman's for their continued effort at making each of these shows get bigger and better, you guys are the best and you committment to your customers is second to none. I'd like to also personally thank Massdiesel Performance and A. D. T for their displays and help with the many questions they fielded.

Thanks is also in order from me for those who shot photos for the event and spent most of the day making sure we have a fine record of the event. Fest3er and drtrox were 2 I know of and to the others I did not get names from ,thanks also.

I am outta here with one last comment, this is one heck of a bunch here and it shows everytime we all meet. Its nice to meet the newbies and the folks from the other boards I myself had a great time. I'll look over my notes tommorrow and drop a final note, its time to crash now... ..... Andy

P. S. -drtrox,oohh ohhh pick me,I know that truck I think... ... .

I put a post in the products forum thanking our sponsors and vendor who contributed. Make sure you guys stop by and say thanks also.

Christian-Man Fest3er is FASTT,heck I did not even get our board finished and there it is... ... . Andy

Edit Note... .

With all that went on and me being wore out I completely overlooked the winners of the throphies in their respective classes,so I'll make sure now they get their just reward... .

Stock-----Jeff Knight

#2 only--Sled Puller

Open-----Jetpilot... (Won easily as no others were in this class)

Sure wish I could have made it up there, sounds like I missed a great gathering. I have put off doing things around the domicile for too long and had to get something done around here.

The wife's got a hankerin' to go camping so I'm suspecting we will be at Budd's Creek. One of these days I'll get this ol' truck on a dyno and see what Keith's handy-work has done for me.

M-D Fall Brawl

This was the first Mason-Dixon TDR event I've attended, and it was great! Couldn't have asked for a nicer day, or a nicer bunch of folks to be with. For a guy whose truck is pretty much stock, it was quite a treat to see what can be done to them via enhancements. It's great to read about and discuss these issues here at the TDR forum, but it's even better when you can see it all "up close and personal" at an event like this one. Thanks to all who answered my many questions and made helpful suggestions. The Kauffman folks were wonderful hosts, and I hope the next time I'm there I'll have a reason to "dyno". And many thanks to Hammer and the whole MDTDR group for putting on such a class event.

First thanks are in order to the fine folks at Kauffman's for hosting the show. Man their guys managed to dyno 50+ trucks in 12 hours... . WOW. :D

Thanks to Andy for setting this up... . Great event.

Thanks to the Vendors who sponsored, and gave out some Fantastic giveaways for those who "Spun". (I won a gift certificate from Mass-Diesel :D )

Thanks to the great people at Geno's Garage for the give aways for the "non-combatants"

Thanks to the folks who were keeping a photographic record of trucks and results. (it was amazing to watch a truck tire deform like a top fueler while under load and at speed on the rollers.

Thanks to Wiredawg and Viv for the cooking and all others who provided the great feast.

Great show

It'll be bigger and badder next year.

Doug "Jetpilot": that truck is INSANE

Kobi is not far behind. ;)

Thanks to everyone for a fine event. A special thank to the Kauffman's. What a SHOW!!! Thanks Proram for the kind words. We will have to get Mr&Mrs Wiredawg chef hats & aprons for next year. The food was great. I never thought I had a chance of winning a trophy let a loan a set of injectors. Can we say 100 trucks for next year? That is not out of the Question. Just can't say enough. THANKS AGAIN!! Jeff

This was my first event of this type, and I just want to say, "WOW, it was awesome". THANKS to everyone involved for putting on such a good event. Met some great people, had some great food, (Thanks Ron and Viv), and had a great time. I thought Kauffmans did a fantastic job. 50 trucks in 12 hours. Extremely impressive. Can't wait till the next event.

Somehow I managed to miss the complaints toward Andy and the lack of prizes for non-dyno attendees.

As a brand new person to all of this, I would have gladly paid an admission fee to attend. What I got from the day was better knowledge about my truck, a number of new friends, loads of fun and probably the start of an expensive new passion. Some goodies were given away to non-dyno persons, but that issue wouldn't have influenced me one way or another. I definitely look forward to having my truck on the dyno next year, when I've done some things to it.

Andy gets high praise from me for doing a superb job of organizing this event. I can imagine it was something like trying to herd cats. I'm sorry I had to leave before the chapter meeting, but just want to say that I'll be more than willing to pitch in and help in any way I can. I was so happy this event was held on a Saturday, as I have to work most Sundays.

Anyway, thanks again for a memorable and pleasant day!
