Still a touch shy, but I will have to get by.

Ted(and other from the south. )

You'll be coming around the DC beltway to 270 N. When 270 gets to Frederick, take Rt. 15 N. Go about 5-7 miles to the Citgo station on Sunday's La. , which is on your left. Landmarks on the left to look for after you have gone thru Frederick proper, are a Rentals Unlimited dealer, corn fields, a motel, more corn fields, sorry couldn't resist that one. The Citgo is about 1/2 mile after the motel. Probably about 30-40 mins from the beltway. Less if you put it in Warp Drive. "More Dylithium crystals, Scotty" "Aye, Cap'n, but she kin'a take much more"

Sled Pullers new song,

Dreeeams,dreams dreams dreams,dreeeams... .

"Still a touch shy, but I will have to get by".....

I am not sure if there is enough left in your wallet after the summer you had Gene to get there, but, dreaming is good for ones heart... ... :--) :--) :--)

Cobra...

I will again say I hope you reconsider and can understand where you are coming from, but, you must understand our commitment to the sponsors at hand. I myself do not drag race my truck or sled pull(man that means DIRT, :--) :--) :--) ,I don't do dirt), and if dynoing is the only way to participate well then thats what it takes. You need not dyno to come,we all know that, and as for the palm pilots, all you got to do is email or pm those who won them I am certain they would make sure it got to you.

One last thing and then the only time I'll post on this thread again will be the last food count.

I am now,to end all the nasty attitudes and deplorable emails I am recieving on this, removing my truck from any dyno run or vendors chance and will leave it at home. I certainly hope this ends the recent rash of email trash I have been getting... Andy

Stay In It Andy!

Andy:

You have as much right as a standing member to be a part of the activities as any member. You need to bring your truck and participate as planned. Folks can say what they want, because there will always be someone who doesn't like something. But, when those folks influence non-participation by any of us, then the chapter is starts to unravel and come apart. This is not the direction we want to go.

As a chapter officer, member and most of all, friend, I ask you to come and participate to the fullest extent and be eligible for any prizes as a fully paid and activie member. I want to come and have fun and not have the air of trouble or issues tainting the event.

I hope everyone will chime in here and offer Andy our support.

I'm with Wiredawg,

Bring it out, it's supposed to be a day to get together and have a little fun.

I've got a "kitchen pass" for the day to be able to attend.

Should know how the work schedule plays out by Wednesday AM.

Hope to be seein' ya'll at the hook-up point. ;)

What do you still need for the food-fest?

Andy, if you're healthy enough to drive, you *are* bringing your truck. It's bad enough Mrs. Hammer will be out of town that weekend and won't be able to join the festivities.

And since we are quoting mauldin songs, we'll just have to call your name, and you'll be there.

What have we got here, our own transmission/oil war? Andy, Bring your truck. This is getting ridiculous. Folks, when you look at the list of sponsors, what do they manufacture. Performance products, right? They are promoting there product in the hopes that we the consumer will purchase furture products from them. How hard is that to undrestand?

BTW, How many of these "trash e-mailers" have actualy paid their club dues? At least Bill voiced his concerns on an open forum and I commend him for that. Bill, hope we see you on Sat.

Can't we all just get along?:D (Sorry, had to throw that in there. Since we're quoting songs, I figured a movie quote was acceptable. )

Ted, We're meeting at the Citgo at 7am or a little before.

Trashing e-mails

When we put this chapter together a year ago, it wasn't to guarantee anyone anything but a group that could enjoy the exposure to other CTD owner's and their "babies". It was to be a place to have fun and exchange ideas, improvements and general "war stories". One of the ways to accomplish this was to have different format gatherings, some which included camping, in which members could participate. Until now, it appeared this had been working out just fine. Not all of the gatherings satisfied everyone all the time, but that was to be expected, since we have differing interests in our trucks and why we purchased them. This event was to be no different. This was supposed to be our 1st annual meeting and election of officers at the “birthplace” of our chapter. We started the chapter with a dyno meet and it was only appropriate to repeat this. It is a shame that after successfully picking up sponsors along the way to assist our club, since we have so many members who have not paid dues, that the guidelines which their products would be awarded to club members has overpowered the original intent of this gathering. In my business, I am ultimately responsible for the actions of my employees, so I guess it stands to reason that the actions of these club members who are “trashing” Andy are ultimately my responsibility as co-president, and therefore I must take the heat and state “If you can’t attend with the correct frame of mind” JUST DON’T COME. We do not want to let the actions of a few ruin the event for the rest of us who have done this without material gain as our motivation.

John Styer

TMACC and the rest, see you at the citgo on saturday, and ANDY, bring your truck.

Well said John ... . Andy has devoted a considerable amount of tie and effort to put this together ... . not to mention the other events he has coordinated. I can't believe we are getting hung up and greedy over some promotional items! And we must respect the manner in which to deliver the items as requested by those persons. This just happens to be a BONUS to the event ...

We formed this chapter to have FUN enjoy - enjoy each others company - and share a common interest. We've done alot of things and everytime the event was a blast ... we all had fun and we'll continue to have fun.

I sure hope that those who are sending flaming email can overcome their obstacles and COME JOIN US FOR WHAT WE GET TOGETHER FOR >... ... >>>>>> FUN

I to want to see that FLAME RED truck there on Sat. It wouldn't be the same without it setting there with your gas grille in the back. I personally thank you Andy & Doug for all your time and effort you two have put into this thing. Because of the prizes I might have to Dyno my truck. Thanks Again Jeff

Andy I hope you reconsider also. I think most of us understand that you,Doug and John do alot of work to get these events off the ground. I remember driving 400 miles to Budds Creek and the event got rained out. I still had a good time eating breakfast and talking trucks out in the parking lot with you guys in the rain. And talking a little trash to the Duramax owner ;) . I hope you don't think the actions of a few reflect how the majority of us feel. Now on the subject of food I plan on steaming up some shrimp Fri. evening so it's fresh and bringing it with some cool refreshments,peace-out... Doug

Wiredawg,

Where are you coming up from? Maybe we can meet up somewhere and convoy up to meet TMACC. I am pretty sure I am further South than you so let me know which way you are headed and maybe I can just follow you.

Thanks,

Ted

Andy,

I think you should bring the truck out also. Who cares what the people sending you the bashing e-mails thinks anyhow. If you don't bring your truck, then they just beat you.

Plus if I win I don't want anybody to say that I only did it cause they weren't there :D

Hope to see you and your truck there,

Ted
