How 'bout a BOMB party at Massdiesel's New Shop?

Thanks to everyone who worked to put this thing together, and as always a big thanks to the crew at Kauffman's. They did an awesome job.

Dockboy, I was in the black/grey Dodge on 83south. To bad we didn't get a good opportunity to run. I was really hoping to see what that Ford had on the street. :D I think i got you beat, :p but who knows. Anyway, I was pretty impressed by your numbers. They are the highest i've personally seen from a 7. 3, by a lot.

Chris, :D :D I don't know... ... . it runs alot better on the street than it did on the dyno!! :--) LOL!!!!!!!! :D

I was talking with Kevin(MD500) and Tom, we will have to put together a little invaision of Cecil County Dragway one T&T evening :D Hell, we could just smoke all the ricers out and make them leave!!!!! :D

Thought's about today.....

1st and formost I need to begin with a HUGE THANK YOU to the ENTIRE Kauffman Motorsports and Dynamic Motorsports groups. Without a great bunch of people like this, who provide what I feel is the BEST dyno facility and the best group to work with, shows like this would never happen. Even when it seemed we were destined for problems early they jumped right in and stepped up the program and made this show a huge success. I certainly appreciate the help given in all areas by this great shop, owners and workers. I do not feel a better bunch of people can be found anywhere and the Mason-Dixon Chapter looks forward to our next event there.

Now on to some show notes and assorted ramblings of a very tired trucker...

We beat "Himacaine Charley" and not a drop of rain today to damper our spirits made for a absolutely mind blowing turnout. A accurate truck count was hard to get with so many sporting about. I had 2 different counts done and this was the final gestimate,45 Dodges,6 Fords and 3 Chevy's. NEVER in my wildest dreams did I envision how many enthusiasts would show for this and even went as far to tell Chris the day before the truck count would somewhere between 15 and 50,with 15 dynoing,I missed badly on that one. Needless to say the battle cry after we finished was this " whatever he claims will show, double it and we will be safe",LOL. I'd like to thank all the owners who showed today for the show and those who helped to chip in for the extra food when we passed the hat around. BTW,thanks to Sherry Lundvalls for doing that for me. I only wish I could have seen more of the outside trucks and happenings.

Owners are begining to get their tune-ups righteous and the trucks are begining to show it in the power being made. Greg's Ford really suprised me for the power made and the freakin clouds of smoke it made,LOL. Our chapter has not seen a Ford make that kind of power so far and I will tip my hat to the newest Ford owner who will have a cult-like following as I have now officially seen a Ford break the "Duke Dumper's" HP number. Give him a little more air and this truck will be a show itself. Its nice to watch as the numbers are creeping up and seeing the owners smile when they attain something they have been working for.

One thing I can not forget to mention is the stand up job Matt did while Dave was out having his eye Roto-Routered for a piece of metal in it. Even with problems with the oliptical sensor Matt trudged on and was doing a stand up job till the "WHEELMAN" showed up. Dave had returned from the eye doctors in Maryland and took over the wheeling of the trucks and I still do not understand where the friggin gremlins went. All morning long the Jet was talking back to us all and once Dave arrived it was like a sense of calm arrived and the jet settled down for us to rock and roll. I am at a loss on that one as it was almost like "The Humbler's" sugar daddy came home and she was all happy because of it. Go figure. Even with the eye problem Dave rolled on and kept us all hopping,Thanks man, heck of a job.

Thanks to the resident Chefs,Rams-n-Hogs and Proram, for the wheeling of the grills and Nancy,Joy and whoever elsed help them to keep the food moving along. Hopefully the next show and the bigger grill will make it alot easier to get the job done.

I will leave with this for now as I have gotten the ol eyes to begin to see way to many letters now after being up for 36hrs straight. To those who came, enjoyed the show, had a good time and helped make this show a good time for all,THANK YOU. Without the truck enthusiasts shows like this would never happen. Take your experience home, tell the friends and other owners and then next one can only be better... ... ... ... ... . Andy

Thanks again Andy and Scott and all the guy's and gals at Kauffmans for your hard work!!!!! :D Oo.

By the way... ... ... ... ... . Who stuck that TDR sticker on my hitch reciever!!!!!!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-laf :-laf :D :D

I didn't see it until I got fuel on the way home!! LOL!!! You guy's do know I have a TDR sticker on my back window don't you?? :D

I was put up to that by another MD-TDR member. :D I won't mention any names. You'll have to try to figure that out. :D Also, I thought you would appreciate that extra sticker hanging off the hitch. ;)

glad to hear you say that.

hp and torque numbers on #2 alone is what impresses me

anyone can inject drugs !!

i'm not taking part in your "wager" but my guess is that you are around 425 rwhp on #2,,no drugs(meth is considered a drug too)

Dockboy. .

400 on number 2 alone and 600 with all your drugs on. IF you hit 600 with drugs you will develop a bigger cult following that the Dukes and Johnboy ever had on the Ford site. I am not sure if I can cover the amount of $$$ for the missed guess,LOL. Time will tell.

Looks like everyone had a great time... ... Wish I could have made it down. Maybe at "Fall Brawl" my new dieselhead boy and momma can make an appearance with me.

Doug

54 trucks is a great turnout. I'll have my truck at the Fall Brawl if I have to PUSH it there myself! (Well, don't hold me to that :p ).

Seriously, I just want to get my stock truck on the dyno.

Special thanks to the Crew at Kauffmans as it was a great day. Finally got back on the dyno with the EZ, ( a good one this time ) .

It was good to see the Ford and Chevy turnout. Hope all had a safe trip home and with luck will see you all at the Fall event.

It was also good to see everyone again and even meet a few new people. Thanks for the ride... drtrox... sweet ride ya got there.

Dockboy, good to meet you and keep on tuning that Ford. It takes time to get it right and when you do, you'll be pleased with the results.

The highlight of the day was the free prostate exam with each dyno run. Here is Dr. Who Flung Pooh preparing for the next lucky paritcipant.

sounded kinda familiar "big turbo ... big injectors ... updated programs ... 500 hp at the wheels"

:-laf just what i was thinkin ...

thanks for a great time guys ... see you at the fall brawl with my truck this time ... with a new turbo god willing ...

jpickens and i will be having our own WV state dyno championship that day :D

that is if he gets a new clutch by then ... 890ish torque was just too much for the stock 90k mile one on there now

Thanks to Andy for putting this thing together in the first place. And thanks to the guys at Kauffmans, who always do a great job. I had a great time. Hopefully, I'll be able to make it to the fall brawl, but that's more than 2 hours away, so I don't know, yet. And thanks to ProRam for running the other grill. :) See ya'll later.

Jim

Yup, thanks to Kaufmann's for sponsoring the day, Andy for the coordination, and both Scott and Jim for manning the grills for the food. It was good to finally roll my truck, so I'll have an idea where I started from. Gotta get rid of that limiter.

I would also like to thank everyone for the great time yesterday. Especially Andy - for all his hard work in getting this together! Thanks to Scott and Jim for being the chefs, and to all the guys and gals at Kauffman's for having us and providing an excellent testing site. I see what the additions I've done to my truck have done - but I see that I have a LONG way to go. It was nice seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new ones. I can't wait until the Fall Brawl - by that time I'll have my DTT transmission and maybe some other additions!

Thanks again to everyone involved!! :)

Sorry I had to leave so soon. Looks like everything came off OK. See you all in Sept at Wiredawg's reunion at Fort Frederick. :D

Mike, the Fall Brawl is scheduled for Oct 9-10. I'm going out (assuming my belt doesn't shred again  ), you should come. These things are a blast.
