m715 got hit, out of commission, UPDATE

yep. got rear ended by a mitsubishi montero sport. 40-50mph rear end into me on wet concrete. my foot was on the brake and i was completetly stopped and she pushed me about 20 feet. punched a hole in the aluminum cover on the rear of the nv4500 transmission, bent the right rear light bracket and other minor damage. the shift lever broke, and my leg is bruised.

What popped the hole in the transmission? You must have had some serious frame movement for that to happen. You had better check your frame alingnment. It looks like nothing happended but there had to be some serious stress.

Sorry. It's a shame her dime a dozen suv had to hit your one in a million truck. Exterior didnt look bad but underneath, frame transmission can't tell. Bill

her 2002 mitsubishi montero sport was TOTALLED!



blue book TRADE in value is 14000 on her truck, which is the value they use

at the industry standard of 60% thats 8400 in damage... ...

i got it, ad just woke up.

they said they wil five me 800 for the rear. i have to have the truck taken to a transmission shop... .
