mac performance cold air intake

Just installed a MAC cold air intake om my brothers new2004. 5 h. o. , have seen some negatives on this particular intake, but other than a wrong size bolt, this thing fit like a glove, does anyone want to share the problems they have had with them so he knows what to look for. thanks

change the air filter asap! Won't stop any small dust. Coats the pipe, turbo, intercooler, etc. Had the same set up, installed a proguard 7. Much better filter. No more dust. I was sold on the nice chrome tube to the turbo. If I had known that the filter wasn't woth it I would have just ordered the A. F. E. set up with torque tube. Lee.
