Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Mach 4s smoke at idle?

I recently noticed a light haze at idle and a definite smell. Has anyone else experienced this with 4s and is it normal. Could a connector tube cause this?

Mine don't smoke, but they do haze at idle... Same with driving down the road, just a slight haze. You really notice it at night when someone is behind you with the lights shining on your exhaust pipe.

My ddp4's haze a little, you can really tell on a cold mornin and at night. . But I'll trade a little haze for how well they run any day.

Thats what I get just seems like its "rich" in gasser terms. The truck runs like a raped ape smooth and crisp and so far no leaks I was just second guessing my first injector install success

To all mach 4 users, Is there any benefit of saving a few dollars and getting Jammer 5's? or is there a noticeable difference due to cost, as in, you get what you pay for???

I am super serious about Injectors now and have the cash to spend, and the reason I have the cash to spend is Cuz Im not Married!!!

if you have the cash to spend get the Mach 4 injectors. They will produce the power and your truck will perform great - as long as the rest of your truck is set up good (good turbo(s), transmission, fueling box,... ... . ) And they are decent on mpg.

I've heard of the Jammers not always making the power they claim, where as the Mach's sometimes make more than they are rated. The Machs will also run a little cooler. They're what I'm going with when I have the cash.

Hey Jo. . Yeah, it looks like most M4 owners are pretty satisfied with theirs.

These 2's are pretty decent also. But no hazing that I can tell anyways :{ lol.

I should have bought yours to try when you got rid of them. But guess I can't complain knowing this set came straight from the Guru's hands. They sure are smooth. And no smoke problem :{
