Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Machine shop In The North East

Hey guys does anyone know of a good machine shop in the North East, (I'm in Vermont) That can O-ring a head and maby port it out...

If you plan on pulling the head yourself bring it to mass diesel in walpole MA or Tri county machine in Lebanon CT. If you want someone to do the whole job, Id drop it off at Scotts (massdiesel) as John at tri county will only do the machine work. Both Top notch shops for the area. Sorry I cant reccomend anyone closer to ya,

I had an axle seal that was leaking. Got in contact w/ John @ Tri-County. He said come on down. Drove there on a Saturday. Bought 2 seals (1 extra just in case) @ NAPA & brought them w/ me. John installed the seal with his tool. The axle had a slight wear groove in it from the seal. Walked up to the house when his wife rang the lunch bell. Had a nice lunch. John set the seal so it would not ride in the wear spot. When we were done, John wouldn't take any $ for the install. I begged him to take 40 Bucks. He wouldn't.



When we were done we took a ride in his VW buggy deep into the woods. I was covered in mud. Didn't care. What a fun, fun ride. . :-laf



John is a retiree and a super nice guy.

Yep knowledge out of that guy is unbelieveable. I had him do my rings. Defenetly would be cool to have as a grandpa.
