Nice!

Very sharp lookin' MacTruck. I too would like to hear about the front "lift" . Were you able to handle the install or farm it out? I remember you having some questions about it a while back. Jim G

I put the lift and Track Bar in myself. It took a few days but it wasn't that bad to do. My biggest problem with putting the lift in is that I have no garage and when I started it rained for a week straight.

I have to say (like everyone else that has put this lift in) It rides like a dream! not as bouncy & very stable at high speeds (tested to 100 mph) No Vibration.

I also used the counteract balancing beads in the wheels(6 oz) There has been a lengthy discussion here on the boards about it. Well from a stop to 100 mph there has been no vibration. That made me real happy.

Whitmore The SJ D25 lift on the Cummins trucks levels it pretty good. I think it is just a hair higher in the front end right now. But the springs should settle a little bit. and be even. I'll keep you updated. I am planning on getting new rear springs from National spring. Not sure when though.

Thanks for the compliments.

Sorry Matt, Thats not a CB Antenna.

Thats for my Lowband radio for the Fire Dept. (46 mhz)

Someone on the tdr made "Lieutenant" :-laf

Going to have to put those other antennas towards the back of the cab.

Are you saying that's what financed the new look, or that's why you're now stuck with the responsibility of having to keep a work radio in your personal ride? ;)

Did you get DT's 1/2" Forward upper & lower links? These will push the axle forward where it was before the leveling springs sucked it back towards the rear. I'm getting a set.

No I didn't. I replaced the lower control arm with a SkyJacker Control arm. It's supposed to push it forward a little. IMHO It didn't do a good job (pushing it forward that is)

When my Bank account recovers I may purchase a set to try to push the axle more forward.

I do not have any problem with rubbing however. It just looks a little Too close for comfort.

mgonske The lieutenent status didn't increase my pay (I'm a Volunteer Fireman ;) ) Let's just say that Uncle Sam was very forgiving concerning my taxes. ;)

John, Coming from you that is surely a compliment. (You still have the baddest ride in the land) ;)
