Mad ECM Impressions

Well guys I have finally gotten to give the Mad ECM a try and here are my initial impressions. Now remember that I was very skeptical of the ECM do to what I had read on a few posts.



First off let me say that the bottum end power on the truck was greatly improved over what an Edge EZ provides. Turbo spoolup is greatly increased, this is with running a steroid B-1 which really likes rpm to get it going. Not that the turbo is terrible its just not an HX35. The Mad Ecm really helps in the spoolup dept.



The truck makes more total boost boost than it did prior to the install. On this truck running injectors and an EZ I would make 37-38 lbs. boost, with the addition of the Mad ECM boost is now running in the 42-43 lbs range. The fueling box on the truck was removed for an updated program and should be back on soon so hopefully I will have more data to share.



As I mentioned before I was skeptical and sometimes even downright negative towards the unit. I need to take everything back and tell everyone that if you are looking for a great driving enhancement the Mad ECM would be a great choice.

Sure glad I did not sell my Catcher. I had posted it for sale in the classifieds, but got to missing the power too much and decided to keep it. I sent it to Bob to have it reflashed to be less aggressive. It is on its way back to me and should be back on my truck in a couple of days.



I'm also curious as to what Marco is up to now.

OH GREAT just get used to this CATCHER for the passed year and now there maybe something better,rumors,rumors,rumors. My wallet can't take it,wife just shakes here head at me,i'll walk around for weeks with holes in my shoes and pants trying to save for another mod. If the new stuff from BOB/MARCO is for a second genner,i'm all ears. UPS truck just came yerserday with some more goodies and lsfarms bars are on the way,UPS guy says that he knows this house pretty well,more truck stuff again---Me-----ALWAYS.
