Anyone keep Lake Malawi Cichlids?

I knew it - Dogs and Computers - no good

Why are companies not "selling the fact that they are made in America? I would think anyone wanting to sell something anything would be smart to put on the product "MADE IN AMERICA"!!!! I for one would and do look for things made in America. My. 02

Sadly I think it's because there are not that many anymore, I remember years ago Made in America ads and bumperstickers a movement if you will It never seemed to catch on and was viewed by many as being anti-foreign and not politically correct. The funny part to me is we now have the big green movement why are these people not demanding that the manufacturing jobs be brought back to America where we can do it more efficiently and cleaner. No one seems to care China has no pollution control laws and there electric production is old, dirty and inefficient. I guess as long as its not in my backyard it's ok and who cares if its 20 times dirtier in yours#@$%!

It's a real shame, I was up at Big "O" Tire couple days ago looking for some trailer tires for a dump trailer. I ask the sales guy for "made in American" trailer tires. Sorry he says NO trailer tires are made in America anymore I ask about Cooper tires, "Nope" made in CHINA, I ask about my truck tires, Made in USA, he told me "their" (BIG O) car and truck tires are made in the USA but NO TRAILER TIRES BY ANYONE. That sucks America.

Don't worry, very soon, neither will the car or truck tires be made in America either. They will all go to the wonderful land of cheap labor also.

Maybe they don't advertise Made in America cause we won't buy it since it's made by overpaid lazy union workers who only do as little as possible to keep their job! That should be a popular post right there!

Interesting point, Brian. I don't get it. A couple years ago I bought a Sawzall. I finally had to call Milwaukee to ask them where it was made because I couldn't find it on the box! Thank God, they reassured me it was made in Jackson, MS.

I suggested that they print it more prominently on their boxes. I don't know whether they took the advice.

For tools and machinery, Made in USA is a big selling point for me. Anything from China has a stench about it, I think.

CFM+ pushes the made in USA . I think it is important too. I find Chinese made products inferior,Tires don't get me going , last year at the SEMA show a whole floor was dedicated to tires and wheels and you would not believe how many Chinese companies were there to push their products they just lacked in the communication end, I think they bring students who are learning english and they interpret but know nothing of the product line. I think they will figure it out one day . Communism can't live without capitalism
