I know many of us are running the Mag Hitech differential covers. I run mine at 1/2 the fill level as indicated on the Mag Hitech. I have always been concerned about running them too full after having a seal failure that Dodge claims was from the rear differential running at too high of a level; top of Mag Hitech dip stick. Since this event I have been running at 1/2 the stick depth. I was wondering how you guys that run at full level, front and back differentials, have been experiencing any seal failure issues. Any input would be apprciated... kts

Mine actually takes an extra two quarts over the factory fill level so it is significant. But I think the real issue is that the Mag Hitech level is approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch higher than the factory fill level. But with all that stated I think it is BS also but I was wondering how many are running at the full level with no problems?

I've always run all fluids half way between fill and full. Kinda gives you a margin for error. Doing so, I've never encountered problems. But, I can't see how it'd ruin your seals.

I run mine a 1/2 level also and have not had any problems. But when I originally ran them full is when I had my only problem with the rear seal. I think the seal problem was independent of the fill level and now I am thinking about filling the MagHytec covers to the full mark and I am just trying to obtain feedback on those that do run full if they have any problems; e. g. how full, miles, etc. .

I have been running mine at the full level front and rear for 150k at least maybe longer with no seal issues.
