Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Mag-Hytec rear how much fluid

when you add the Mag-Hytec rear end cover how much fluid do you need?



also what would be a good non-synthetic gear oil?and what is the weight?



i do have a dana 80 LS.

Can't help you on the diff cover, don't have mine yet.

Where are you in Pgh. I live close to route 8 in Shaler and have almost the same setup as you in the 3/4 ton version.

i live just on the other side of the liberty tunnels (outbound side not town)



but i do travel up rt8 every day . i do a lot of work on some buildings just on the other side of the turnpike on rt 8.

You will need about 8 quarts of the best fluid you are comfortable with. Mag-hytec recommends LE.
