What would serve a better more useful purpose? The Mag-Hytec transmission pan or the Mag-Hytec differential cover?

This will be installed on a '96 Ram which tows a 10k 5th wheel about 5,000 miles per year.

I'd get the transmission pan first. It'll help keep the fluid cooler and allow you to install a temp sensor in the pan.

I'm with Rob. Cooler the Trans oil the longer it will last. Sooo important! Not to mention eyeing the temp so as not to fry the trannie when hauling up the long grade.

Budget for the diff cover later on, then you can eye those temps too! #ad

Ditto on the trans. More heat in that component, every little bit you can drop the transmission temp helps to save autos!
I think Mag-Hytec will give you a break if you buy both.
