Is anyone running a 3rd generation trackbar and mag hytec front cover on a stock ride height truck? I just tried a synergy kit and it will not clear the top of the cover correctly so I had to pull it back off. I want to keep my mag hytec and I am not looking to lift the front. If nothing else I may just put a Luke's Link on my current trackbar since it isn't real loose yet.

Thanks,

Matt

I have one on my 01 (both track bar and cover)that I put on before any lift and did not have issues. However mine was a stock Dodge 3rd gen bar non adjustable.

I am using a Mag-hytec front cover on my 08 2500HD. The linkage is the older style not the redesigned 08 and on. I am using the Mag-hytec front cover on my 08 2500HD. The linkage is the older style not the redesigned 08 and on. My truck was built in Oct 07 and bought new Nov 07 and I chose not to up-date to the newer style track bar and stabilizer. The track bar does hit the front cover a little; so I trimmed off the projection of the cast AL that interfered. So far I have had no leakage of fluid or adverse affects with my modification. See attached photos.

I have/am using the original DSS (Darin Steering stabilizer)manufacturer I think Rip Rook still sells the original manufacturer ones but not sure. He is at source automotive.

Ok I just realized I gave you the wrong part but my 3rd gen track bar conversion bracket was from Source Automotive and I think it was Darin's as well but I may be wrong on whether it was Darins or not.
