Mag-Hytec

Just ordered a Mag-Hytec and LE 607 gear oil from Roy at Mag-Hytec.

I just had to mention what a great guy I thought Roy was. He talked to me for about a ½ hour (he called me back, so he was paying) and never seemed rushed to get off the phone. In fact when I cut the conversation short and got down to the business of ordering, it seemed like he’d just rather keep talking about all the tech stuff—I felt bad that I had to cut him off and finally order it and get off the phone.

It’s really nice to do business with such a nice guy.

I'll second that! The world could use a lot more like Roy. Plus the Mag-Hytec is a great product. I get more comments and questions about the darn rear end cover than the Cummins! (Except for dumb spark plug questions... #ad

Several months after I purchased my '98. 5 Ram I noticed the debut of the Mag-Hytec differential covers and transmission pan in the TDR... within one hour after receiving that issue I ordered both products directly from Roy. We must have spent at least a half hour talking about our Cummins powered Rams, machining (we're both machinists), torque converters etc. He even complied with my special request... matching serial numbers of a number I selected. #ad
In fact, when I ordered my new Double Deep trans. pan in early January (from Roy), he again granted my request to have the new pan serial numbered to match the other Mag-Hytec components I'd purchased from him. #ad

In addition, I mentioned that the head of my Dana 70 dipstick was experiencing some pretty nasty corrosion in a few places to which, he said he would send out a free replacement. What shocked me was that all the details of my order (placed in early January) were met nearly three months later. #ad
I thought with the late release of the new Double Deep pan he would have forgotten something however, this was not the case. Anyway, awesome product and excellent customer service! Thanks Roy! Heck, I may order another one of the Double Deep pans... so I can use it as a swimming pool. #ad

BTW, several weeks after I had first talked to Roy I received a letter in the mail from him... he gave me the name and address of a vendor we had discussed. I had forgotten all about it but Roy followed through, providing me with the information I was looking for.

How do i get a hold of Roy again,,,i bought a Dana 80 cover and the regular trans pan last year and was blown away by the quality and strenght of the pieces. . Now i hear they have a even deeper transmission pan,,,i need to get me one of them. .

If anybody upgrades their Mag Hytec transmission pan to the new deeper one I would be interested in purchasing their old one.
