magview
Good morning.....
from what I read about the magview, no compliants. fit fine on the rear. I've never held and touched one. Those that bought them love the fact that at a quick glance you can see your level. I figured if I loose just some oil I'm gonna see it and smell it, as has happened when I lost pinion seals. Some folks tried the Magview dana 60 rear covers for the front of the dodges-but the track bar tends to hit the cover a bit. Seems a little diegrinder work is needed. Shame to pay all of that money and have to ruin the finish.
Again from what I read about maghytec's DD, it's about another 7-10degrees F cooler over the regular maghytec pan.
The pan on our dodges and the regular maghytec pan are already basically a deep 727 pan.
Some guys have swapped out their regular mayhytec pan in favor of the new DD one, since the 1st one worked soo well, more is better. One of the great things about the maghytec pans is that it strengthens the transmission by spanning that huge opening in the transmission with a heavy thick cover. . instead of that stock twisty pressed thin cover.
I have the regular maghytec transmission pan and the rear cover.
Both are extremly well made. They cost a small junk of change, but you easily get what you paid for. 1st rate stuff and anyone I've spoken to in the shop has been great.
The deal at Piers is cool.
I emailed maghytec last night... here's their reply:
"Bob,

Either way they sell product... ... .
